Does the accommodation have any special features?

Listed building

Is the accommodation a national listed building? Then please provide this information below.

More information

Accommodations are considered to be national listed buildings if they are included in the official register (the ‘Rijksmonumentenregister’). In case of tenancy agreements concluded before 1 July 2024, a different score will be given to national listed buildings.

A municipal listed building must be designated as such by the municipal council. A provincial listed building must be designated as such by the provincial executive.

Protected townscapes and villages are designated by the state as areas of a particular historical nature. Find out whether the accommodation is considered to be a protected townscape or village.

Only accommodations built before 1965 get extra points.

Care home

Please indicate whether the accommodation is a care home.

Is the accommodation a care home?

Care homes are meant for people with physical disabilities. This type of accommodation is part of a residential building with communal spaces, has barrier-free access and provides at least a personal alarm system.

For care homes that meet these conditions, the number of points is increased by 35%.

New buildings or high-level renovations

Was the accommodation completed in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 or 2019? Or was a major renovation carried out during this period, resulting in an energy performance identical to the one of a newly built accommodation? Then the accommodation falls in the category of ‘high-level renovations’.

Was the accommodation occupied for the first time after 1 July 2024?

Increase for new buildings

The accommodation was occupied for the first time after 1 July 2024, and the new construction, transformation or expansion of the accommodation was started before 1 January 2028.

This only applies to rental properties in the middle segment. Extra points are only awarded if the accommodation’s total score is between 143 and 186 points. If the score falls outside these lower and upper limits, the result will not include an increase for new buildings.
